Water Treatment for the Milk Industry

This technology was developed for neutralizing and chemical-free cleaning of fat-colloid rich milk industry sewage.
This is a flocculation based highly efficient new process.
This method makes it possible to meet the most rigorous European Union standards, e.g. < 5mg/litre fat contamination in water.
Sewage, treated with this process, can be disposed of through the public drainage system (without harmful environmental impacts and penalties) or alternatively, it can be re-circulated. Thus the cleaned industrial water regains freshwater qualities and can be re-used for food processing.
Environmental Protection:
Implementation of this technology facilitates the radical reduction of the environmental impact of an extremely dangerous form of pollution.
Cost savings in milk processing:
By using this water treatment technology, significant cost savings can be achieved, in the following areas:
- reduced freshwater costs,
- reduced sewage utility fees,
- potential elimination of environmental penalties;
- reduced water treatment costs related to;
- energy,
- chemicals,
- personnel
What does our water treatment technology do?
The equipment separates the pollution from the water.
Once the fat-pollution was separated from the water, the hazardous waste (1-2%) is automatically deposited into a container.
Depending on the manufacturing technology and the content/makeup of the waste-water, we can get up to
90-95%
OF WATER RECIRCULATION
Generally this enormous amount of water is
DRINKING WATER!
and we can save it.
Another great benefit of this procedure is that without any additional chemicals it
SOFTENS THE
TECHNOLOGICAL
WATER!
The earlier measured 26-30°dH value of the water hardness can be reduced to as low as 13°dH.
The process is widely applicable and is very simple to connect to existing milk processing manufacturing lines.

Construction:
- pH regulator system
- one-compartment precipitator
- fat separator reactor
- pump
- container for the created sludge
- control unit
- optional elements
- heat-exchanger (in heavy pollution it increases the efficiency of cleaning)
- solar cell unit
The components are manufactured using corrosion resistant materials.
Simplicity:
- closed system, clean technology, simple operating principle
- continuous operation with remote supervision, easily manageable
- simple and fast installation and implementation
Limitation:
This technology was developed only for the treatment of milk industry technological sewage. It is not applicable for communal sewage.Economical:
- significant costs savings if the cleaned water is re-circulated,
- strongly reduced expenses of sewage treatment,
- modest capital expenditure,
- low operating costs,
- low maintenance costs,
- exceptionally low energy consumption.
Fast return of investment:
Due to the modest implementation expenses and low operating costs, return of investment is expected within 2-3 years.Operational advantages:
- Does not require constant supervision - working under remote-control.
- Apart from regular pH checks, there is no need for local interaction.
- In case of any malfunction the control unit emits a sound signal, and the intake will be stopped.
Installation data:
- energy consumption:
- full system < 0,3 kWh/m3 [Best of Industry],
- reactor only < 0,15 kWh/m3 [Best of Industry],
- installation area 1m x 2m x 3m (for 1,000 litre/h capacity)
- additional equipment: sludge-sewage receiving container
Steps of preparation:
- establishing contact,
- completion and return of the data-sheet regarding quantity and composition of the sewage,
- demonstration, if required,
- letter of intent,
- site survey,
- preparation of a preliminary licensing offer
